Socrates C. Tsamutalis is the CEO of Tsamutalis & Company, LLC. Socrates began his career at Ernst & Young, where he specialized in financial services taxation.
Socrates focuses on accounting and tax preparation for business entities, individuals, estates and trusts. He assists clients with a broad range of matters including tax planning, financial implementation, strategy and business advisory. Socrates helps his clients identify and evaluate financial compliance issues and operational weaknesses within their businesses. His experiences as an accountant, investor and entrepreneur have given Socrates a valuable knowledgebase which he imparts to his clients to guide them with decisions about risk, needs and goals.
Socrates has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Master of Science degree in Financial Accounting from the Rutgers Business School. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the states of New York and New Jersey. Socrates is also a member of the audit committee at the Kimisis church in Southampton, New York.
